In this introduction, you will:

• See who the course is for and how the nine levels, badges and certificate work
• Learn the changes in ISO 9001: 2026 and 14001:2026: quality culture and ethical behavior and named environmental conditions in 4.1 and 4.2 (pollution, natural resources, climate change, biodiversity and ecosystem health), risks and opportunities in their own clause 6.1.4, the new clause 6.3 on planning of changes, control of externally provided processes, products and services in 8.1, and continual improvement as one proactive requirement in 10.1
• Ground yourself in the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle and where internal auditing fits

How the course works: Each level ends with a short knowledge check. Pass it to earn that level’s badge, from Foundation Auditor to Audit Program Lead. Then submit your audit report. Your certificate issues after MSI reviews it. Track the badges you have earned anytime on your My Badges page.
