Both standards changed. ISO 9001:2026 makes quality culture and ethical behavior requirements and adds climate change to the organization’s context. ISO 14001:2026 adds clause 6.3 Planning of changes and broadens control of externally provided processes. An internal auditor still working from the 2015 checklists will pass things a registrar won’t.
This workshop brings your ISO 9001 and ISO 14001:2015 internal auditor training up to ISO 9001:2026 and ISO 14001:2026 in about 90 minutes of video. It is built for people already trained on 2015, so there is no re-teaching of basics. You learn what changed, how to audit it, and you prove it with a graded audit.
Every change was checked against the standard text: ISO 9001: 47 changes, 16 that change what you audit. ISO 14001: 31 changes, 11 that matter, and one new clause (6.3). Myths corrected: nothing was removed, 6.1.3 and 6.1.4 were split out rather than added, and 10.3 was merged into 10.1.
The workshop teaches the new auditing guidance, including remote audits, virtual locations and Annex A, which most transition courses leave out. The ISO 19011 standard itself is not included.
Where the two standards changed together, you audit them together. Where they differ, you learn what to check separately, so one pass covers quality and environment.
Writing audit objectives, which every audit now requires, with weak and strong examples side by side. Program risks, review and maturity, so your program improves year over year.
Every module has a “From the Audit Room” story, drawn from 28 years of experience and MSI’s ongoing internal audit work for clients.
You audit the 2026 changes and MSI grades your report. Your certificate issues only when it passes.
Narrated video lessons, self-paced. Each level ends with a knowledge check and a badge.
Level 1
Badge: Change Spotter (ISO 9001 & 14001 Update)
Level 2
Badge: Context & Planning Updater (ISO 9001 & 14001 Update)
Level 3
Badge: Operations Updater (ISO 9001 & 14001 Update)
Level 4
Badge: Program Updater (ISO 9001 & 14001 Update)
Final
Badge: 2026-Ready Auditor (ISO 9001 & 14001 Update)
Completion is not competence. Your certificate is earned in three steps.
Step 1
Pass the knowledge check in each of the four levels and the final knowledge check, and earn all five badges.
Step 2
Audit the 2026 changes at your own organization, or an audit MSI assigns. MSI grades your report. The completed answer key unlocks once you submit.
Step 3
When your audit passes, MSI issues your certificate. It shows a registrar real evidence of competence, not just a completed video.
Copies of the ISO standards, including ISO 19011:2026, are not included. Purchase them separately.
